Within the first 30 days of receiving your ring we will adjust the size at no charge.  Please ensure you call us as soon as possible upon receiving your ring and determining it is the wrong size so we can start the return and resize process.  If the ring needs to be more than one full size bigger or smaller, we will make a replacement ring within the first 30 days, also at no charge.  (common sense says please do not order a size 6 and expect us to resize it to a size 16.)

We do offer engraving - Please NOTE:  Engraving any jewelry item makes the item non-returnable.  Also if a Ring needs to be resized, that may destroy the engraving that had been done, depending on where engraving is performed on inside of ring.

Give us a call: 1-866-545-1775 for more information and pricing on engraving.

  13. What Metals do you use in creating fine Marine Corps Rings and Marine Corps Jewelry ?

Palladium is a rare and lustrous silvery-white metal that was discovered in 1803.  Palladium is more precious than sterling silver, whiter than platinum, and it will not tarnish in air.   Certainly is used to make fine beautiful and lasting jewelry. Palladium, along with platinum, rhodium, ruthenium, iridium, osmium form a group of elements referred to as the platinum group metals.  Palladium bullion has ISO currency codes of XPD and 964. Palladium is one of only four metals to have such codes, the others being platinum, gold and silver.  Mohs hardness: 4.75  Palladium is currently available in white  only.

Platinum is the most prestigious and durable of all jewelry metals. Platinum is the ultimate choice for the most discerning customer wishing to create a family heirloom. Available in white only.  Mohs hardness:  4-4.5

24K gold is pure 100% Gold.  Mohs hardness:  2.4.  Because of the softness of pure (24k) gold, it is usually alloyed with base metals for use in jewelry, altering its hardness and ductility, melting point, color and other properties. Alloys with lower caratage, typically 22k, 18k, 14k or 10k, contain higher percentages of copper, or other base metals or silver or palladium in the alloy.

22K Gold is softer than 18K gold and is ideal for fine jewelry for the very occasional wear.

18K Gold is softer than 14K gold and is ideal for occasional wear. 18K gold contains approximately 75% pure gold. Available in white or yellow.

14K Gold balances durability with prestige. It will not tarnish and is durable enough to withstand normal daily wear. 14K gold contains approximately 58% pure gold. Available in white or yellow.

10K Gold is the most durable of all gold choices. 10K gold contains approximately 42% pure gold. Available in white or yellow.

Sterling Silver is widely used to make beautiful and economical jewelry. Available in white/Silver only.  Mohs hardness: 2.5  We use standard sterling silver in handcrafting our pendants, earrings and other items, except for our Rings.  Our Rings are made of Sterling Silver.

NOTE (10/15/2009):  After researching and refining our casting processes, we are now using a new Sterling Silver alloy (.925 Sterling Silver) that is more durable.   This new .925 Sterling Silver alloy we utilize for our Rings is twice as expensive, yet for quality and durability we have chosen to use this new alloy not raise our prices.   Our customer satisfaction is paramount!   The new .925 sterling silver alloy has the same bright white color as normal sterling silver, but more durable - and a great match for Rings.   The sterling silver alloy we are using for our rings utilizes an alloy that provides for 10 times the normal resistance to tarnishing and 2-3 times more durable.  Casting this type of Sterling silver requires a unique casting machine to ensure a complete oxygen free environment exists during the casting process (want to know more - give us a call 1-866-545-1775).  As such, you will find our rings are more durable than other sterling silver rings on the market.  Once again - we are providing VALUE to our customers.
